The Sarasota School of Architecture — that 1941–1966 movement of regional modernism led by Ralph Twitchell, Paul Rudolph, and a generation of disciples — is the most underrated reason to buy here. These homes are flat-roofed, jalousied, glass-walled, and built for the Florida sun. Original examples are rare and expensive; faithful renovations and architecturally sympathetic builds form a strong middle market. We pull listings 1945–1975 below; ping us for off-market and original Rudolph homes.
